This recipe is for you!!
A BIG thanks to my facebook and IRL friend Julie for sending it to me!!
I think she needs to start her own blog, what do you all think?!?!
Start with a box of chocolate cake mix. Julie recommended German Chocolate... I had Devil's Food...
Dump in a bowl.
Add oil
and egg.
Mix until crumbly.
Save 1 1/2 cups of the mixture and pour the rest into the bottom of your pan.
In a sauce pan add the rest of the ingredients.
Including your sweetened condensed milk
vanilla
salt
and chocolate chips.
Mix until blended.
Should look like this!
Pour over your crust.
Add your remaining cake mix mixture.
And bake!! Julie said the edges are her favorite with this recipe!! I would have to agree!!
And of course enjoy with a tall glass of ice cold milk!!
Double Chocolate Fantasy Bars

1/3 cup veg. oil
1 egg
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 can Eagle Brand
1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preheat oven to 350. Combine cake mix, oil & egg; mix together until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture. Press remainder in greased 9 x 13 pan.
In small saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. Cook & stir until chips melt over medium heat. Pour over crust. Top with reserved crumbs. Bake 25-30 minutes or until bubbly. Cool & cut into bars.
Can't wait to see what you have baked this week!!
