A Moment of Weakness

Usually a moment of weakness for me involves chocolate or wine, in no particular order. But, not today!

I am so ready for some sunshine and summertime!! But, spring seems to be taking her sweet time around these here parts.

I figured my daffodils could use some company! So, while I was out and about I bought some flowers! Pansies to be exact... I figured they could stand this chilly weather as well as any.

For those of you that don't know, I don't exactly have a green thumb. In fact my hubby's exact words were, "Why did you bother..." I giggled, because he knows I am the queen of good intentions when it comes to plants.

I don't want to brag but I haven't killed this orchid, and I have had it for all most a month. In full disclosure I should probably mention I haven't been home all that much this past month so hubby has been taking care of it!!

It is amazing what a little dirt under the fingernails can do to make you feel like spring has sprung!!

How are you chasing away the winter blues?!?
