O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree!

Thy leaves are so unchanging;

Not only green when summer's here,

But also when 'tis cold and drear.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

Thy leaves are so unchanging!

Yes - the leaves are green but they are not unchanging!! They are falling out on my living room floor!!!!!

However, I do love a REAL tree! I grew up with them and love to have one in the house. We've had artificial trees since we've been married but decided to go for the real tree this year and I'm so happy we did!

The experience of choosing the right tree, cutting it down, shaking it and bundling it up to bring it home was terrific with the kids! We went on a really snowy morning which made it all the better!!!! Take a look...

And, check out our little friend that we met along the way! He was helpful in leading us to the trees!!

At the end of the day, we had some fantastic memories and a beautiful tree that we can enjoy this season!!

  2. This was such a beautiful post I had to comment and to follow you. We've just had our trip abroad cancelled due to bad weather and Hubby has brought down a 6 inch high artificial tree for me to decorate (well that'll take about 20 seconds!) so I've missed out on a tree this year....but you're right...I won't have to fret about the needles!
    Have a fantastic Christmas time. Do drop by and maybe follow if you would like. Warning -I'm a vision of the future :)
